Your BISP installment now arrives in a digital wallet linked to your own mobile SIM under the 1LINK Social Protection Wallet system. To withdraw it: wait for the confirmation SMS from 8171, go to any HBL Konnect agent or any partner bank’s authorised retailer (Bank Alfalah, Bank of Punjab, HBL Microfinance, Easypaisa or JazzCash), show your original CNIC, complete thumbprint (biometric) verification, and collect your full installment in cash. You are no longer tied to one bank or one campsite — a wallet holder can withdraw from a partner retailer anywhere in Pakistan. Collecting your first installment at the retailer activates your wallet.
8171 BISP Digital Wallet 2026: Withdraw Rs. 14500 From HBL Konnect 1LINK Payment
The BISP Digital Wallet has changed how your installment reaches you: money lands in your SIM-linked wallet through 1LINK, and you withdraw it from HBL Konnect or any partner bank retailer nationwide — no fixed campsite, no single-bank queue. The method is simple: wait for the 8171 SMS, take your original CNIC, verify your thumbprint, collect the full Rs 14,500 and keep your receipt.
8171 BISP Payment Verification
Your first collection activates the wallet, and every coming installment — including the Rs 18,000 rate from January 2027 — will reach you through this same wallet, so keep your SIM active, in your own name, and never let anyone deduct a single rupee from what is yours.
What Is the BISP Digital Wallet (1LINK System)?
Under agreements signed on 18 June 2026 (BISP Press Release No. 50), BISP partnered with 1LINK — Pakistan’s national payment network — and six partner banks to move Kafaalat payments into interoperable digital wallets:
BISP Online Check
The system is already working at scale: according to BISP’s official briefing of 29 October 2026, 9.7 million Benazir SIMs are active and 9.3 million beneficiaries have already been paid through digital wallets. Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid confirmed on 20 October 2026 that wallet holders can withdraw from the authorised retailers of all six partner banks in any city — not just their own district.
How To Withdraw Money From HBL Konnect – Step by Step
8171 BISP Digital Wallet 2026: Withdraw Rs. 14500 From HBL Konnect 1LINK Payment Details are below here.
Step 1 — Wait For the 8171 SMS
-
Wait for the official confirmation SMS from 8171 on your registered mobile number.
-
Do not visit a payment shop before receiving confirmation.
-
Check your payment status before travelling.
Step 2 — Find an HBL Konnect Agent or Authorised Retailer
-
Visit an authorised HBL Konnect agent or designated BISP payment centre.
-
Confirm that the retailer is authorised to process BISP payments.
-
Use the official payment channel assigned to your area.
Step 3 — Show Your Original CNIC
-
Take your original and valid CNIC with you.
-
Provide your 13-digit CNIC number for verification.
-
The registered beneficiary must be present in person.
-
Photocopies or another person’s CNIC cannot replace the original.
Step 4 — Complete Biometric Verification
-
Place your thumb on the agent’s biometric device.
-
Allow the system to verify your identity.
-
Your fingerprint will be checked against the relevant NADRA records.
-
If verification fails, contact the nearest BISP office for assistance.
Step 5 — Collect The Full Amount And Take The Receipt
-
Collect the full payment amount approved for you.
-
Count your money carefully before leaving the payment centre.
-
Ask for a printed receipt as proof of payment.
-
Do not pay any agent or retailer an unauthorised deduction or commission.
-
Report any deduction or complaint to the BISP helpline (0800-26477).
Count your money before leaving the shop. The current installment is Rs 14,500 — you must receive the complete amount. Always take the printed receipt/slip as proof of your transaction.
Wallet Activation – The First Withdrawal Rule
If this is your first payment through the wallet, that first collection at an authorised retailer is what activates your digital wallet. After activation, your coming installments will land directly in the same wallet, and you will be able to withdraw from any partner retailer or transfer money onward. Remember:
- Activation happens at the retailer during your first collection — there is no separate form and no fee
- Your wallet is tied to your own SIM — do not change your registered mobile number without informing BISP, or your SMS and wallet link can break
- Keep your SIM active and in your own name at all times
What If the Thumbprint Does Not Match?
Biometric failure is common for elderly women and women whose fingerprints have worn through work. Do not pay any agent to “fix” it. Instead:
- Try again at the same or another partner retailer — a clean, dry thumb and a properly cleaned device sensor solve many cases
- If it still fails, visit your BISP Tehsil Office and ask for face verification — BISP provides an alternate verification route for genuine biometric-failure cases
- If your fingerprints have changed permanently, NADRA can update them — the Tehsil Office will guide you
Charges – What Is Official and What Is Only Reported
Be careful here, because two things are being mixed up on social media:
- Official: withdrawing your installment at an authorised retailer is your right, and any deduction (katauti) from your Rs 14,500 by an agent is illegal. If an agent keeps even Rs 100, complain immediately on 0800-26477
- Reported (not yet confirmed by BISP): a fixed charge of around Rs 280 on cash withdrawals from the wallet has been reported in payment-system reporting, with RAAST and online transfers stated to be free. BISP has not issued a public confirmation of this charge — so if any agent demands a separate “fee” beyond what the system shows on your receipt, treat it as a deduction and complain
Rule of thumb: the only amount that may differ is what the official transaction receipt itself prints. Anything demanded verbally, in cash, on the side, is illegal.
Checking Your Wallet Payment Status
- 8171 Web Portal: open 8171.bisp.gov.pk, enter your CNIC and the picture code to see your eligibility and payment status
- SMS: send your CNIC number to 8171 from your registered SIM
- Confirmation SMS: when money lands in your wallet, the intimation comes only from 8171 — a message from any other number is fake, even if it uses the BISP name or logo
6 Safety Rules For Wallet Beneficiaries
- Messages come only from 8171 — every other number is fraud
- Never share your OTP, PIN or wallet password — BISP and bank staff never ask for them
- Never pay an agent for activation, registration or “early release” — all of it is free
- Collect your payment yourself with your own CNIC and thumbprint
- Count the full Rs 14,500 and take the receipt before leaving the shop
- Report any deduction or misbehaviour the same day on 0800-26477
FAQs
Q1. Can I withdraw my BISP wallet payment from HBL Konnect?
Yes. HBL is one of the six 1LINK partner banks, and its Konnect agents are authorised BISP payment retailers. You can also withdraw from Bank Alfalah, Bank of Punjab, HBL Microfinance, Easypaisa or JazzCash retailers anywhere in Pakistan.
Q2. Do I have to go to the same district or campsite as before?
No. Under the 1LINK wallet system, you may withdraw from any partner bank’s authorised retailer in any city — that is the main benefit of the new system.
Q3. How does my digital wallet get activated?
Automatically, when you collect your first wallet installment at an authorised retailer after receiving the 8171 confirmation SMS. There is no form and no fee.
Q4. What should I do if I have not received the 8171 SMS?
Check your status on the 8171 web portal or by SMS. Payments are released phase-wise, so your district’s turn may not have come yet. Do not visit retailers repeatedly before the SMS arrives.
Q5. The agent deducted money from my installment. What now?
Deduction is illegal. Call the BISP helpline 0800-26477 the same day with your CNIC number, the shop’s location and your transaction receipt, or complain at your BISP Tehsil Office.
Q6. My thumbprint never matches. Can I still get my payment?
Yes. Visit your BISP Tehsil Office and ask for the alternate face verification route for biometric-failure cases. Never pay an agent for a workaround.
